Home Remittance
Inmates are able to remit money to their family members using PayNow. They can first make a request to send home money through his/her Correctional Unit officers. The inmate can choose to send home money through either:
- PayNow.
(Family members to register PayNow account to the respective bank via their NRIC number) - Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT).

(Applicable to foreigner recipients who are not residents in Singapore)
Using PayNow is the most convenient and quickest option.
Upon approval of the home remittance request, it will take about 10 working days for processing of the payment, provided the PayNow Account has been set up with the bank or EFT bank account details has been registered on IPRIS.
In the event that PayNow/EFT transaction is unsuccessful, it will take about 10 working days for alternate mode of payment to be arranged.
