Home Team Diploma/ ITE Sponsorship
The Singapore Prison Service (SPS) offers sponsorships to highly motivated and passionate Polytechnic or ITE students with a keen interest for a career with SPS.
The sponsorship will provide you with financial incentives during your studies. Thereafter, you may look forward to an exciting and rewarding career as a Captains of Lives (COL) to transform lives and influence communities towards a society without re-offending.

The Home Team Diploma sponsorship is awarded to outstanding polytechnic students and covers a three-year diploma education in any of the five local polytechnics.
The sponsorship provides financial incentives during your studies and will also start you on a meaningful and fulfilling career with SPS. You will be given development opportunities to acquire new skills and upgrade yourself professionally as you progress.Eligibility Requirements
- Existing full-time student at Nanyang, Ngee Ann, Republic, Singapore or Temasek Polytechnic
- Singapore citizenship
- Have Good 'O' Level / NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma results
- Medically and physically fit, with at least a ‘pass’ in NAPFA
Value of Award
- Tuition and other approved fees
- Monthly allowances
- Study bonus of $1,200 per semester if the student passes all the modules in that semester

- 4-years bond

The Home Team ITE sponsorship is awarded to outstanding ITE students. The sponsorship will not only provide financial incentives to applicants during their Higher NITEC studies but will also put you on a path of a fulfilling and rewarding career with developmental opportunities to acquire new skills and academic qualifications.
Eligibility Requirements
- Existing students studying Higher NITEC Programmes at local ITEs
- Singapore citizenship
- Have Good Higher NITEC results
- Medically and physically fit, with at least a ‘pass’ in NAPFA
Value of Award
- Monthly allowance of $750 or a total of $9,000 per year
- Tuition and compulsory fees
